Virtual Boy is coming to the Switch 2

I just got an email from Nintendo about it. Apparently they are selling a replica of the original to use as an accessory, for an eye-watering $99, or you can get the cardboard version for $24.99.

I have a really hard time imagining someone playing this with the cardboard version based on the pictures I have seen so far. Also, it only has two titles that it has announced for it, which are 'Teleroboxer' and 'Galactic Pinball'.

They should simply release the entire library all at once.

Do you think you will buy one of these when it comes out next February?

The $99 price tag is a bit too high for me. Definitely won't go for a cardboard version of it. If they'd bundled in a Virtual Boy NSO controller of sorts, I'd have definitely bought it.

I expect the existing cardboard/non-cardboard knockoffs that were made for Labo VR to work with this too, and if not or regardless, China will likely put out some new options to use with this. I have a knockoff cardboard one, it works well but the cardboard against your face isn't super comfy, a plastic knockoff could be better especially if they go to the lengths of padding etc.
