    Hallo,
i have setup a Wii with the 'CompleteSoftmodGuide' some weeks ago. I installed Priiloader 0.6 (r123) and the new IOSs (i think it were the cIOS21d2x but not sure what version. I see there are at v3 now).
Now when i try to use WiiMC it crashes after some seconds in the selection menu (freeze or crash dump). Also the mplayer-ce freezes or crashes when i try to switch or stop video files, mostly MKVs. I remuxed nearly all my mkvs from mkvtoolnix v4.1 to 3.40 to allow seeking (known and already listed bug). I'm not sure if need to go even further back to v3.0 or something but videos are playing without problems. Its just when i stop playback or change to different video file.

Its very annoying. Any advice how to get the thing stable? Can i change IOSs for the players or something? All video files are accessed from a FAT32 HDD. Binaries are mostly on SD Card. Configurable USB Loader works properly.

What cIOS do these player use? Will they even be affected by updating d2x?

Only thing I can think is to make sure you are running the latest Mplayer or Wiimc release.

I already do. But i don't know which cIOS they use by default.
Could be a general mkv bug in both players but wiimc crashes nearly immediately. Maybe its this one.

The latest revs of WiiMC use IOS 58 I do believe. So I don't think it's the IOS...... Yours is unpatched.
