GCN Using the Gamecube microphone as a PC microphone

Exactly as the title says, I'm trying to find a way to use the Gamecube microphone as a microphone on PC. I've searched around on google for about an hour and can't seem to find anything on how to use it this way. Any help or advice for a direction to start in would be much appreciated.

The Gamecube has a proprietary connector on it and will not work with anything but a Gamecube. It'd be bad quality anyways, just pick one up from a department store for $10.

If you could program a small chip and solder it to a pcb, and that pcb solder it to the cables of the microphone, then yes, you absolutely can.
That's the only way I can think of honestly.
