Hey , I just wondered if there are any Japanese games out there that are worth giving a go that have an English option? Or even any that dont have the English option, but are playable without having to read the text. I just know that Japan seem to release some games that look real good and it really annoys me that I cant play them!! So, I just wondered if it's possible to try a few out, and if so, which ones are worth bothering with?!
Hope that doesn't seem like too much of a silly question lol

Help much appreciated.

Regards,

Again: "Chou Shoujuu Mecha MG". It's GREAT mecha-game with tons of battle robots and FANTASIC control (just like wiibox (= )

- Puyo Puyo Fever 15th Anniversary (menus are easy to figure out and I think a translation document exists)
- Daigasso Band Brothers (there's a translation document, apart from that the game isn't that text heavy)
- Tingles Balloon Fight DS (It's Balloon Fight!)
- Eyeshield 21 Max Devilpower (takes a while to figure out the commands)
- Puzzle Series Vol1 Jigsaw Puzzle (Jigsaw puzzles!)
- Puzzle Series - Jigsaw Puzzle - Koinu Mekuri Hen (Jigsaw puzzles with puppies!)
- Puzzle series - Jigsaw Puzzle - Koneko Mekuri Hen (Jigsaw puzzles with kittens!)
- Puzzle Series Jigsaw Puzzle Oden Kun (Jigsaw puzzles!)
- Puzzle Series Odenkun 2 (Jigsaw puzzles!)
- PikuPiku Toku to E Ninaru 3-tsu no Puzzle (there isn't much text, but the puzzles are kinda confusing, luckly there's some online sites that have tutorials)

The jigsaw puzzle games are pretty fun truth be told!

Ouendan 1 and 2 are definate must play games (Japanese versions of Elite Beat Agents).

Kaitou Rousseau was pretty good fun - you draw disguises on your character so he doesn't get caught and stuff, but it's not the easiest game to figure out.

Pokemon is really easy considering they only use hiragana and katakana.

So, if your interested in all those Japanese games, why not learn a little Japanese? I haven't been studying it that long and I am quite proficient in it, as well as Chinese at the same time.

All you need to do is learn the hiragana and katakana (at max a 2 week effort, I did it in two days), then get a simple dictionary for the computer and start translating! With Pokemon, you'll pick up simple grammar in no time.

er, Bleach Ds series, i reckon u staart with Bleach Ds the 2nd. It's a fighting game so duh...... u'll get it.
