Hacking USB panic!

My wii fell yesturday cause my annoying little cousin and the whole faceplate came off.....while that happened the sd card slot completley destroyed! Can I use usb memory stick instead of an sd?

P.S....I should of prepared for this cause I dont even have a gamecube backup loader wad lol

You can only use SDs for Homebrew Channel, but some homebrews uses USB devices, such as the Media Player(s). Sorry, but unless you get that Wii fixed, no more HBC for you, I guess. :/
 
i say just do what what romo12 says just use WiiTCP and send Wad Manager over... wait never mind it won't work since Wad Manager isn't very good with the USB slot nvm mind but still you can send boot.dol over to the Wii just not Media Players ( or most of them ) but you can send the Backup Launcher thru WiiTCP

its a pc app you just start the homebrew channel on your wii then on your pc you use the program type the ip address of your wii under hostname chose the file to load on the wii protocol set to homebrew channel then click send
 
You can use the usb Gecko to load a wad manager .dol and install a channel of a tool that can load from USB. That is assuming you have a Gecko and a Gecko OS Channel.
