I'm currently using the hdd that i had configured for my old Wii and it works just fine on Wii U. I can play wii and gamecube games from usb loader gx, but I'm not sure if i should inject those games instead to have them load at system menu (the brazilian method i believe it's called), which would allow me to also have wii u games on the same hdd. From what i've read the wii u has a 300 title limit, which would mean deleting a few of my wii and gamecube games.

So can anyone clear this out, what's the pros and cons of both options? What do you recommend and why?
Also a bit off topic: do injected wii (not wii u) games support cheats and online play?

First of all, you have to tell us if you have Haxchi or not. The brazilian method doesn´t need CFW for Legit games, But Wii and Gamecube games are not legit.
The pros:
1) Load Wii and Gc games via Wii U menu.
2) Watch and play any Gc game on the gamepad or with Wii U pro controller.
3) Watch and play some Wii games on the gamepad (games that in original Wii support classic controller).
4) Faster and easier to launch those games, all in one same HDD.

Talking about me, in other times i was using WiiFlow instead of usb loader gx. By the way, i always wanted to play Gc and Wii on gamepad and have the games on my Wii U menu, without need to be changing USB (with wii and gc games) and HDD (with Wii U games) to play... so after i got haxchi i proceed to the Injections and it´s perfect.

The cons:
1) For Wii injected games, you will have to turn off the console when you wanna stop playing, cause returning to Wii U menu via home button freezes the console.
