Hacking USB Loader port

Is there a way to change which port that the usb loader reads from? My kids broke the other usb port and I cannot get the drive to recognize in the oter port. Game controller and such are still working from this port though.
Any help would be great!

cIOS Rev 10 can use either port, games that need the 002 fix in Rev 10 use Anti 002, and Not 002 Error
cIOS Rev 12 and above only uses bottom port

Yes you can install Rev 10 over the version you are running now, it overwrites it
