Wow, since I went to bed a lot of things are happening.

The download mods are great. Do you guys want to add the download covert art control?

If you want that, then you need to get a "game boot confirmation" because there is no available control in the select page.

I actually miss the "game boot confirmation" ..... bring it back

...... and move the language select to that page too

Too many different opinions out there. I think I might add back the "confirmation page" but keep the language select on first page. Not sure...

You could put all the settings on the confirmation page, and have [a] button auto boot button confirmation screen. You really only need to change settings once since they get saved so you dont really need to have them displayed on the console all the time. Would also free up some buttons.

Removed everything off my SD card and placed ONLY the v6.7.dol in
Root:/apps/usbloader
and added
Root:/images

Works fine.
Im going to start adding back the files i used to have on my card and tell you what breaks it.

Ok strangely enough it was my bg.png causing the crash.
BUT ONLY if there was a game installed on the USB.

Explain how whats installed on the USB even remotely effects the bg.png and causes a crash and you win a cookie.

I'll have a look at putting language select in the confirmation/cover download screen.
You'll find the background picture in the rar-file. It's called bg.png. You know where to place it.

The same as above applies to the covers... I'll try to find a automatic resizing tomorrow.

all we need is an image size setting in the config and we are laughing..

Save the task of having to resize the pictures

i.e cover size = normal (equal to normal format) / widescreen (equal to 120x225)

just tried the 16:9 version , looks good , just hope the 50Hz problem ( like jarock mentioned ) gets solved as the black band is still there ! also i dont understand why only a few of us have been posting this problem and not others ? oh well good things come to those who wait !

Config.txt goes in the same folder as the boot.dol. Titles.txt is supposed to go in the same folder but it doesn't work in 6.7 so you need to put it back in /apps/usbloader for now.

6.7 does allow reposition of console and covers.

I mentioned this idea to oggzee as well and he said that he was already working on almost this exact same idea

So maybe talk to him first so you both don't end up doing it from the ground up (save you some work anyway.)

I thought I posted the source for 1.4. For the source of 1.1, it is gone, because I have modified it for V7.
