Everytime I try to install a wii game, nothing pops up and the screen just gets a bit dim and I can't do anything but listen to the music or hold the power button on my wii to turn it off.
This also happens when I try to select the wii games list it just freezes with the music and sounds when I click on something.

I'm thinking it's the USB since I'm using one

What are you using for storage? A HDD or a flash drive? Flash drives are notoriously unreliable for Wiis.

Hello,

@ Xander406:

Use an external hard drive instead, it will work better than your USB stick as GrezWolf says.
An external hard drive does not cost very much now, and in addition you will have a higher storage capacity to store more items.
