Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Hacking USB Loader GX not returning to itself

My problem is, once I load a game using USB Loader GX, the game plays fine. But once I exit the game, my Wii U returns to the vWii home menu. Not the USB Loader GX games menu like I have it set to. It used to return to the games menu until a day or 2 ago. The only changes I've made that I think could've done this is installing Riiconnect24 apps or CBHC on the Wii U side of the console.

I am able to load USB Loader GX. All my loaded games work but it doesn't return to the channel specified in the settings, being USB Loader GX forwarder. It's up to date, as it was working just a day ago. I can provide a syscheck if needed.

EDIT: Swapping loader ios to 58 fixed my issue.
