Hacking USB Loader GUI boot.dol that's compatible with preloader autoboot

This boot.dol will run the boot.dol that's located in SD:\apps\usbloader\

using preloader 0.29 I installed the file from the root of my SD card, then I went to the settings and set it to autoboot to file and to return to preloader using IOS 60. Now everytime my Wii Powers on, it autoloads the USB Loader GUI, bypassing the system menu altogether. And if you hit the home menu while playing a game and select Wii Menu, it will take you back to the USB Loader GUI as well. This is the perfect solution if you never want to seen the system menu again. And you can always reset the options in preloader so you can get to the Wii Menu.

edit: I got a "FAT could not be initialized" error

I have a SD:\apps\usbloader\ folder and pretty sure the sdhc card is FAT

I've heard of problems with sdhc cards, especially if they're 4GB. I don't know what else to tell you, sorry. Is your IOS 60 the official Nintendo one? or the patched one that comes with waninkoko's systemmenu 4 upgrader? That might make a difference, you may need to try a different IOS.

try unplugging your nunchuk if there's on attached to the wii remote.

It's an 8gb, not a 4. Though that probably doesn't make much difference.

I installed a patched IOS60 through wadmanager but other than that I'm still on 3.2. I forgot to change preloader from 30 to 60 but that didn't make any difference.

Unplugging the nunchuck didn't help either ...
I do get a weird green flickering screen before I see the message, is that normal?

Guess I'll just stick with installing the release itself into preloader instead of this awesome forwarder

this is working great for me, i can switch any usbloader i have to apps\usbloader and it boots it on powerup.


only problem im getting is if i hit home>wii menu i get a code dump if i use any loader b sesides usb loader gui.


i'm guessing thats a problem with the various loaders im trying and only usb loader gui goes back to the menu? or could it be fixed with this boot.dol?

All worked without any problem via Preloader for me...so what problem have you? Anyways, if others have this problem, good work, although there are already maaany .dols that do the same...

hold reset while powering the wii it will take you to pre-loader menu so you can change what you wanna change
