Hacking USB Loader compatible with a 3.0 HDD

USB Loader GX doesn't seem to be compatible with USB 3.0, seeing as it doesn't recognize my Dell 3.0 HDD. Is there a USB loader that is compatible (also with the latest Wiimote!), or is this a hardware problem and $100 were wasted on the HDD?

EDIT: Could a mod please rename this to "Is there a USB loader compatible with 3.0?" I don't see why we can't do this ourselves. :/

Check to make sure your USB doesn't have a history of compatibility issues. Most USB hard drives default to USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 isn't available.

If I were you, I would try installing the proper cIOS files using ModMii and try using a loader like Configurable USB Loader MOD.

Used ModMii, partitioned the HDD with FAT32/NTFS, and now USBLoader GX works.
