Hacking USA savefile to EUR rom

Hi,

I have a question regarding savegames...

Can I use my Zelda OOT USA save file with my EUR OOT dump? (Gateway 2.3b)
I rename my Zelda USA savefile (0004000000033500.sav) to match the titleID of the EUR rom (0004000000033600.sav) but it doesn't work...

Anyway to do this?
