Hi there,
I have a fat ps4 with cfw 9.0.0. It have an internal hard drive about 1 tb and I want it to upgrade it to 4tb. How I transfer all the data from the internal HDD to a new one? I would like to change the internal hard disk but I don't want to loose all the games installed and the cfw settings.

You can use the PS4 built in Backup and restore function. You would need a 1TB or larger drive to backup

not sure if it will work, but the only way I know of is the official method. I don't know if you need to be signed in to use it or not. that might only be for transferring to another system. I don't know if the ps4 can do this, but I know the ps3 can transfer stuff via an ethernet cable to another system, officially. anyway, I'm not sure if that's what I'm thinking of where you have to be signed in.

one other thing, backup your trophies manually from the user partition, if you care about them. I don't think they're transferred in the backup process. sony wants you to sign in to redownload them.
