Is there anyway to uninstall a driver or get rid of a driver while a device is not connected. Reason I ask this is because every time I connect the device in question I get a BSOD for bad header pool. This is probably because I accidentally install the wrong driver for my device.

Under device manager, use the View menu and checkmark the Show Hidden devices. This should make visible ALL devices and thier drivers that you had at any point in time installed to your comp.

If you have the bad drivers stored somewhere, you can manually search for them by name on your C drive and delete them from your system and inf folders.

You can also do a system restore to a point before you installed the bad drivers.
