These delays are starting to feel like an excuse to make the release date seem sooner, like pre-order wise.

Game delays are nothing more than marketing decisions in the first place. For AAA games, preorders are the number 1 source off income and if preorders aren't high enough, delaying is the best way to increase that number (and throwing in a few retailer exclusives on top of it).

They probably knew it was't going to be a 2015 release date. that was highly ambitious.

Doesn't matter, I've been looking forward to Batman Arkham Knight more than any other game, especially since it's the last..
