Gaming unable to change to 480p

Can it be done?!

I have a semibricked ntsc-j 2.2j wii
I cant access the system menu because of mario strikers
Can i somehow change resolution without going in to the menu to do so?

I have the component leads but i would love to change to 480p
480i is starting to get to me...

Any work-around advice would be most appreciated
- also any non-wait for a 3.0j update game advice
would also be appreciated

Sorry I can't think of any way you can do this except through the menu.

Is there a 3.0J update available at the moment? If there is why don't you want to update?

I actually think Forever_Blue_Bug_Fixed_Version_JPN_Wii-Caravan has a 3.0j update. Not sure tho.
