So if I understand correctly gbatemp is down and CNet's running the forum from now on.
2 topics of mine were already closed AND deleated today.

A few months ago gbatemp started to grow more popular AND NOW THEY SELL IT TO CNET?!??!??!?
What will become of the famous gbatemp in one month?
Where will we look when roms are dumped?
*When is gbatemp closing this topic?*
And most importantly where do we make fun and laugh about games ect.
Gbatemp is dying (so is the world).

P.S.
Im not making fun of gbatemp

GBAtemp kind ill needed a saviour such as CNET.

I guess in the end some people will leave, some people will stay.

The mods will delete if they find any reason to delete/close it, especially for spams and testing area stuff.

ohh stuff it people. GBAtemp will be fine. It might take alittle getting use to but quit crying. THis is a free service to all of us and I'm sure it was done so we could see some improvement on the board.

As soon as people stop being idiots and trying to enflame CNET things will get better...

and of course if this was a joke i'd be happy with the GBAtemp how it was before. WIN/WIN I say!!!

Except with CNET running the temp we would be stripped of all free speech and we would lose the ability to discuss roms (probably flashcarts too).

Hell, they'd probably take out all the emoticons and take away the scene releases too.

well, we must develop a code in which to discuss the release of ROM and flash carts =P

Since alot of you are brits.....how bout Fish(roms) and Chips(Carts).

Damn I wish some new fish would drop....Damn that new copyright protection on that Fishy.

That silly chip will never get a new kernel. =X

Ps. I know this isnt reasonable...but I hope it doesnt come to this. That would be a shame

... you do realize that the mods can read that... And if this is indeed real, then they'll know what you're talking about.

Check your date, it's 1 April!
If it was really sold to CNET, they would probablu kill gbatemp

ds - scene is a great site for scene releases. They always did them faster than GBATemp and they have a burdgeoning community already in place. I suggest you check it out. (It's a .net by the way).

Who.is tells me that GBAtemp is still registered to Costello. Therefore no sever switching has occured. None of the data I got from the Who.is search is in any way related to the data I got from doing a who.is search on GameFAQs and Gamespot.

Of course, that's assuming the server hasn't switched yet. But then again, there was the downtime a few days ago, for all we know that downtime could have been staged to make people think that a server switch was occuring.

flashcart/modchip forum + cnet/flashy law obeying network = epic fail
This is just like a cat buying a pet mouse...
RIP gbatemp, it was fun while it lasted.

ps: on the other side, it is april 1

I really hope you people are just playing along, and are not really retarded enough to think this is true.

Even if it isn't true, we should do that anyway!

Anyway, off to play that new Ninja Gaiden fish.
