1) has anyone tried using rockband 1 instruments (specifically drums) with ghwt?

2) I cannot get my 2nd wii to read sd's.. never have been able to. I have two sandisk cards (2gb and 512) and both work in one wii that I've got the hbc and buloaders.. but my other wii will not read an sd card for anything

Does anyone know of any type of workaround for this? I know it's not a formatting issue. Surely you geniuses know of someway that this could be fixed..???

get a panasonic sdformatter(google it) and format your card using that, and every time you remove your card from pc, make sure you click on bottom right to "safely remove hardware" before you pull it out

Thanks for the response!! I've tried that and nope. Both cards work great in my other wii but .. not at all on this one I am having the issue with. I've actually seen it read an sd in the photo channel before.. but that's the extent of what I've seen it do. No workarounds? The problem is that it is a launch system and therefore quite a bit out of warranty. I'm hoping there is some sort of debug mode I can access or perhaps something a bit more hands on like take the thing out and clean it? I dont know!!

The first time I used my SD was in a camera, and I just put from my camera to the Wii and I could see the photos, then I erase everything and format to FAT, but first time was in my camera

try and use an up to date formatter, i used one that a twilight hack tutorial on wiibrew mentioned (http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter/eula) and it was out of date, turned my 2gb into a 1gb, used an up to date one and changed back to 2gb (http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/download/sd_formatter.html).

so seems reasonable to me that these 2 programs format the sd card differently, maybe one of them can make your card recognisable. of course i take no responsibility if anything goes tits up

*have you tried using a different sd card in the wii that doesnt work, at least you can eliminate, whether its the sd card or the wii responsible
