Am I the only one wishing that Twitch had a Chat Only mode? sometimes Ill watch a Twitch stream from my TV and will need to use a second device for chatting. On a full browser you can stop the video feed and just use chat but you're also wasting screen space. On mobile, you cant even pause the video and that's a waste of bandwidth. Thoughts?

If you are using a Smart TV and/or Roku device, I would assume that they would at least have a primitive chat feature, no? If they do, you might investigate to see whether or not the TV/Roku has a separate application that allows other devices to connect and act as keyboards.

As Sonic said above, there is a chat only mode on mobile. If you're on desktop, you can actually use a popout chatbox by pressing the settings cog in chat, and enabling it. It'll give you a popup with just chat in it. You can then either use the popup or just use the address provided. For example, the GBAtempTV popout chat is:
Code:
https://www.twitch.tv/popout/GBAtempTV/chat?popout=
