I keep seeing people mentioning to use the TubeHax DNS, but I've looked everywhere and cannot find it. It's not even on its website.

http://smealum.github.io/3ds/

"On your 3DS, open the System Settings app, then go to Internet Settings and Connection Settings. From there, select your favorite Connection, tap the Change Settings button, and on the second page head over to the DNS section. Once there, select "No" for "Auto-obtain DNS", and under Detailed Setup, enter the following address : 107.211.140.065."

I guess you could do the same on your WiiU

note: It will not allow you to run homebrew (I think), but you can block Nintendo's update server this way.

I'm using it to block nintendo updates on my WiiU and works like a charm ;)
Yes just hope he doesn't take it down now that TubeHax is patched.

I'm not talking about the hack itself. If you had actually read, I'm talking about blocking updates.
Oh i didn't see you mentioned that. You just asked for the DNS.

Just use OpenDns now on with your main IP address> https://www.opendns.com/

With OpenDns v2.2.1 Updater Client> https://support.opendns.com/entries...ownload-an-OpenDNS-Dynamic-IP-updater-client-

Also set up with it> https://dnsomatic.com/

Its quite easy to all set up as you go, just need to block all these and follow instructions:-
ALWAYS BLOCK:
nus.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.cdn.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.cdn.shop.wii.com
nus.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net
nus.wup.shop.nintendo.net
Unless you're using a dynamic IP address and it changes on you, thus OpenDNS blocking domains on an IP address you're no longer using, thus updating your Wii U.

Yes well mentioned. I have a dynamic address not a static so that is why I need it. Still handy though just in case your ip does change for any reason.
