i was trying to use either fbi or nasa to install a game but i dont even see the install option in fbi

Why are you using NASA? Literally any cia installer will work better

first one i got i dont even see an install option on fbi and i think the reason they wont install is i dont have the nintendo id thing set up on the account

That's a very dumb reason because I don't have a Nintendo Network ID on my 3DS or my 2DS and I can install things with FBI just fine.

You said you used the guide, and by that I believe you mean Plailect's guide. If that is the case, then it sounds like you did Parts 1-3, but you actually need to complete a section of Part 4, which will explain how to inject FBI into your health and safety app, which will allow you to install titles.

Complete "Section II - Injecting FBI", and ONLY that section if you don't want to install A9LH.
Once you complete that, you can open your health and safety app in emuNAND, and FBI will run.

If FBI doesnt recognize a .CIA it probably means it's a bad file. freShop is a better option for installing commercial games

ah this is it i stopped once i saw the whole downgrade to 2.1 which i deemed irrelevant and ignored so i'll go back and start from there thank you

And remember, you only need to do Section II of Part 4, everything else you can ignore if you aren't installing A9LH

I've finished section 2 of part 4 and finished the injection but when i go back to fbi it still looks the same as it did before

How are you launching FBI? You need to launch it by opening the Health and Safety app on your 3ds home menu.
