When the update is released (and if it has all the features the current version has)
Is it possible to transfer my save from my legit MH3U cartridge to a .3ds file or .cia file for use with gateway?, if so Please tell me how.

I know but even if you can't use cias maybe the nintendo save data transfer tool can detect it.

Or he can also install the cfw in another sd card then use savedatafiler.

If u have a wiiu and the game it works, I was able to use the mh3u's own save transfer tool to transfer the save fom the wiiu to a mh3u rom modified to card2.

Yeah sadly that doesn't work, I tested it myself the other day. The installed cia is recognized in GW Mode (but you can't use the retail card), but it's not recognized in Classic Mode.
Yep, CFW + Savedatafiler will work.

So.. Is that achievable with a gateway?

CFW = custom firmware?

Yes, I successfully extracted the save from my MH3U retail card just the other day with Savedatafiler on CFW.
Setting it up is pretty tedious though... backup your SD card, Nand and Emunand before attempting this obviously: https://gbatemp.net/threads/4-x-only-cia-cfw-complete-guide.373532/page-11#post-5145746

After extracting the save, copy the "filer" folder from your SD to your PC. You can go back to your original Emunand now, copy the contents of your SD card and the filer-folder to it and inject the save to your cia.

There is a much easier option: backup the game using the Gateway Menu (hold L while running the exploit and select Game Backup), backup the save in the same way, copy the game to your Micro SD, rename to .3dz, and you have the save working with your backup. What I'm not sure about is whether the Gateway Menu and its cart backup functions will be available with the new loading method.

Ohhh, I thought OP wanted to use a cia (I should read more carefully) -- but you're right, if a ROM is okay as well, this method works just fine.

Then again.. Wasn't it possible to convert .3d(s/z) to .cia? or will this delete the save data?

Save data is separate. In that case, you'd need SaveDataFiler to get the save onto the .cia, since they don't access .sav files in the SD card the way that .3dz files running from Micro SD do.

EDIT: but you can use SDF under Gateway mode after doing what I said earlier, basically copying the save from the .3dz (that the 3ds reads as an actual card after you select it) to a decrypted file and from that file to the .cia game.
