Gaming Touch Detective 2 1/2 and supercard CF

So, anyone else out there with the SC CF not being able to run this game?
It never actually goes beyond booting up, not even a white screen or anything comes up, it gets stuck in a loop in the supercard menu after trying to start it.
any help would be appreciated, or at least nfo why it doesn't work

edit: i just realized the SC software pops out a 0 byte rom, no matter what settings i use. fun.

I'm like the only SC CF user here. Didn't have a problem in this game.

Ask around anyway. I don't know enough about it to help...
