when i started hacking my switch, i used tinfoil to enter rcm. of course, i didn't have any paperclips so i took the risk of making my joycon unattachable. nowadays i use paperclips
nowadays the fact that i have to detach my left joycon each time i wanna play is peeving me off since the right joy con doesn't wanna admit to be attached, claiming to be wireless.
i put the foil on the joycon so it might be the joycon that's problematic
but it could also be some destroyed pins of the rail
guess that's why they call it tinFOIL.
what do you think i should replace, the right rail or the right joycon? or is there a different way to repair it altogether (afaik one could a joycon firmware update but i can't gurantee the workiness)
when i get the issue fixed i might enable autorcm to reduce risks
