Homebrew (TINFOIL) Error unable to start software

What do I do to fix this

Can you walk me through what steps you took? And at what point it gives you that error? also:
-what firmware are you on
-do you have patches?
-what version of tinfoil are you using, and have you attempted to use any other installer (awoo, etc)?

Use TinWoo or Awoo instead. They provide support for more formats and solid USB support to install from PC and I haven't had problems at all with failed installs or the app not running like with Tinfoil.

I am on ther lastest version of tinfoil and I have what I think to be the latest version of patches but just in case could you reply with a link to the latest ones. but the thing is with tinfoil is when i try to open it trhe switch says I can't and on top of that instead of the tinfoil version on the switch being 12.01 its only 11
and what is awoo because im using tinfoil for the games

Awoo and TinWoo are other installers that can install nsp, nsz, xci, xcz that are single files or split. They both offer installation from USB flash/hdd or PC and both methods work much better than any other installer I've used. TinWoo has more support for filesystem formats so it is like Awoo+.

Ive installed both the nsp and the sig patches and it is not working is there any tutorial?

Hi I have same experience with you, this is step what I did from above solution:

1. For SIGNPATCHES LINK ==> I used fusee.zip
2. RCM mode I use fusee-primary.bin with TegraRcmGUI
3. Install Tinfoil with .nsp file
