Hacking Tinfoil does not seem to work/install

Heya! I had just installed Atmosphere and wanted to get Tinfoil working. But every time I try and open the installer, it says "unable to start software. Return to the HOME menu and try again." If anyone would help, it would be appreciated

PS: I am VERY new to modding the Switch.

Use the applet version and launch it from the hbmenu until tinfoil gets updated

Did you install sigpatches? If you followed the nh switch guide they won't tell you how to install sigpatches, read the sigpatches thread for insturctions

Thank you. I was on the latest v18 and still having the issue. It didn't occur to me that Tinfoil itself could be the culprit.

I'll keep an eye for v19

If you want to run it from the home I think you can generate a forwarder here https://nsp-forwarder.n8.io/, you'll need an icon image file
