If you have a PS3, PS4, Wii U Pro, or Xbox One controller, you can use one of these adapters:

https://www.amazon.com/Magic-NS-Wireless-Xbox360-Controller-Mayflash-Windows/dp/B07413R4HS

If not, I'm sure it'll work, but when I click on the link you provided it shows that controller costs like $830 USD which is *just* a tad expensive for my taste.

I'll second the Mayflash Magic NS adapter, works well with my non bluetooth Xbox One controller plugged in to the adapter, I find this one to the most comfortable for me to play with. The PS4 controller has the best support, works wirelessly and is the only 3rd party controller to support motion control.

thanks.
at this time i don't know why it seems costs like $830 USD but as i know in my country it's almost half price comparing to official pro controller.

I just bought a switch and I'm not so excited to throw out an extra 70 dollars for a Switch Pro Controller so I've also checked out this adapter!
However, do you guys have any advice regarding multiplayer? Do I need to buy 4 of these adapters?

Is there any problem with the button layout of different controllers?
Right now I own:

1 ps3 controller
1 ps4 controller
1 Wii U Pro controller
4 Gamecube controller + USB Adapter for gamecube controllers

All and all, I would love to have the Gamecube controllers work 100% since I got 4 of them but I heard there can be a problem with the buttons.

One adapter per controller unfortunately, I suspect it's a hardware limit the way they emulate the Pro Controller. PS 3 would probably best layout as the Share and Options buttons on the DS4 for the -/+ buttons are very small, I'm always hitting the touch button which Mari to the share button for the switch. I'd say DS4 if you care about motion controls, DS3 for better layout.

I haven't ever heard of having to update controllers or anything. I think you should be fine.

Since your Switch comes with a controller, you'll only need 3 of those adapters. I only have 1 since I usually play games alone. But the GameCube controllers will work in a pinch if need be. You just have to use the Z button as a toggle to use ZL and ZR that are missing.

So, you can use this mayflash adapter and joycons at the same time? You know, PS3 (via adapter) for player1 and joycons synced as player2.
You can have multiple controllers connected at once (I've had the Joy Cons & a DS4 hooked up wirelessly, and an Xbox One non-Bluetooth controller through a Micro USB cable to the Magic NS) but they all only control Player 1. You need one Magic NS per player. Even with my 3rd party controllers hooked up the Joy Cons still controlled player one.

Just get a brook super converter & you're good to go! Depending on what kind of controller you'd like to use but yeah.

That guy is over $17 more than the Mayflash Magic NS and has less features. It also only works on the Switch or Wii U (have to flash firmwares to switch between consoles), only supports PlayStation controllers or Xbox controllers with 2 different $40 converters not an all in one solution like the Magic NS. You can also use the Magic NS on your PC as well. I've been more than happy with the Mayflash version, most features and only a few dollars more than the Fastsnail adapter that doesn't have a port to plug in wired controllers.

Does someone know If it may be possible in the near future using ps4 Controllers on the switch without a dongle/adapter? I mean with the help of custom Firmware, etc.? Like on the modded wii u :-)
