I'm thinking of getting an acekard but I have a few questions. I use the original ds so should I buy and acekard 2i or 2? Is the software Akaio for any ackards or just the 2i? finnaly I have an r4 right know how would I convert the save files to play on this? thank you

1. Get a AK2i just in case you want to upgrade to a DSi. Yes it works in a DS/DSL
2. Akaio is better than the official firmware. It's for all Acekards.

mine came with spring loaded micro sd slot they might have started using them again.
but don't let a spring loaded slot stop you it's a lot more solid a spring loaded slot then that a R4 or DSTT uses.
