Also, don't expect a community of a free mmo to be entirely friendly. Most of the time they're made up of young kids

Being young isn't the only thing that makes a person unfriendly or rude though. There are older "youth" 15-25 who play those games and some people even older than that.

Don't forget to play as a female character and capitalize on horny males giving you free stuff to be their girlfriend!

Just one thing:
Do not play OFFICAL Nexon Games. You can try "Maplestory" Its gunna suck. I actually play a private server, so much better community, etc.

You can try WoW Trial, sucks? Then go with FlyFF.
And just know that there are Private Servers out there.

If you have played maplestory, know that it is only fun to those who like 2d scrollers. It is a fun game, I would also consider DOMO Dream of Mirror online. The reason is because you can become any type of character with any job at any time and switch between them whenever you want. It lets you explore and do all sorts of quests especially for each job outside of the main storyline and main quests. Its downfall is the click to combat thing. I play both and enjoy both.

Although SmoothBwir, Maplestory has the worst community you can ever ask for. At least in the North American Version who IP Banned Europeans and the Europeans protested because the so called "Maple Story GLOBAL" is for North Americans only.

You gotta deal with the MMORPGS out there. They are repetitive. Play with a friend.

Play runescape definately. If the stupid new trade rule didn't come into effect I would hook you up. Actually I still can. If you sign up for runescape tell me and I will hook you up with some stuff.

No offence, but Runescape was one of the shittiest things I've ever even tried to play.

I played it for about 20 minutes, and thought it was fucking stupid.

I'd rather wait for Diablo 3.... I know it won't be free, but it'll be worth it anyway...

Play RO! It's the pvp and guild wars that's fun. Altough lvling can get tedious, so just play midrate...

Im waiting for Battlefield Heroes myself.
It's basically a non serious battlefield inspired game.
You level up your character, get skills etc. There will be tons of different skills for the different classes and you can decide what kind
of skills to level up. So every player will have a personal preference of skills they like the best.
It's fully free and there will be micro payment for items. But they've said that none of the items you buy with real money will have any impact on the game
(no overpowered guns, gears and so on). The store will be mostly for accessories in which you can dress up your character with.
The only slightly impact item you can buy with real money will be the 'double exp weekend', which gives you double exp for one weekend.
