You neglected to post your 3ds model (old or new?), and your method of installation you chose. Did you grab the proper payload?

Edit: im dumb, i installed 2.1 themehax then downloaded the correct ropbin file for 2.5
i've been told the home + l method but i need it for booting up 3ds

2.5 is really unstable for ThemeHax. Seems like it fails and hangs like 90% of the time.
Success rates are much higher if you let it boot normally, then press the Power button to bring up the power off screen, and press Home to go back to home menu.

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
