There's a tool called “irecovery” that sends iBSS to iPhones from a PC. Previously, when running it on Windows 25H2 → it displayed “Unable to connect...” → when running it in WSL2 (Linux virtual environment) on 25H2 → sending iBSS didn't enter recovery mode → when running it on Windows 21H2 → libimobiledevice-glue-1.0.dll, libtermcap-0.dll, and it couldn't run. If there's a solution, please let me know.

I'm not familiar with this tool, but have you made sure you're in DFU mode and the device shows up in device manager?

Rather than use WSL, have you tried a Linux live distro?

I've properly put the device into DFU mode, and it's clearly displayed in Device Manager. What exactly is a Linux live distribution?

Basically you can run Linux off a USB drive without having to do a full install.

So when I download say a Linux Mint iso and use rufus to create the USB installer, it will boot to the Linux Mint desktop and you can run regular Linux apps.

I do have a computer running Lubuntu. Would that work?
