Installation

• Extract the folder SLUS-21215 inside the textures folder in your PCSX2 (v1.7+) directory.

great project, cant wait until you have finished all so I can try it out ! I have already tired the HD textures for this game created by Bl4ckH4nd, and although it looks great there are a few items I didnt like the look of. Would it be possible to pick and mix the various textures from each pack or do they only work in conjunction with all the others in the same pack (i.e.) all or nothing ?

I would keep it seperate .... the current Warriors HD pack has new improved textures rather than upscaling the current PS2 graphics, and also introduces some new imagery (see below GTA universe logos). If we have two seperate packs the user can switch between both to see which they prefer, and maybe even do a mix and match of both versions !

You're right. A combined pack would be too powerful. I don't think the streets can handle it.

correct ! i found the subtitle text a bit too bright and in your face, I prefer the balance the original PS2 had (below), although its graphics were a bit more muted so i guess it balances out there ..... i have only played a few mins so far (up to first brawl with homeless dudes) but will defo give some more feedback as i go along, maybe you could post a few comparison screenshots as you go between original PS2 / Bl4ckH4nd HD pack / Xbox Textures HD pack ?

Sure, but I'm not including Bl4ckH4nd's texture pack for comparison, I'm doing my own.


I will remake the text (and probably icons), and add in a "PS2 | my texture pack" comparison.
(also for Bl4ckH4nd, your texture pack is great work. Yours is actually what inspired me to do my own texture pack )

Update version... I don't know, I never counted:

• + Adios Amigo, Encore, Payin' the Cost, Destroyed, and Boys in Blue textures
• + All characters (from Rumble Mode)
• + 2x texts
• And more... I think
