Ask a nerd, get a nerdy answer.
Using an online currency converter to convert Indian rupees to dollars is the exact opposite of a "nerdy" answer. A really nerdy answer would be to estimate a Big Mac Index or purchasing power parity based on the prices of common items and produce here and in Hyrule, and get an exchange rate that way.

How many rupies buy you a Big Maclink on Hyrule?

In Ocarina of Time, it seems the economy is in good shape.

The market is flooded with people and vendors, and you can even find discarded money in just about every piece of grass you examine. I couldn't tell you exactly how much a Big Mac would be worth in Hyrule, but it wouldn't be more than 5 rupees or so. If the Big Mac must be produced, teleported, and transported to Hyrule, that would significantly increase the price, making the idea of turning a profit more uncertain.

Thinking about it, cows may be plentiful in Hyrule. You even come across abandoned ones in holes, suggesting that people have too many. There's also the possibility that the cow in the hole is lost, which means cows are, in fact, scarce. Exploring the game, you only come across five cows or fewer. I don't recall cows being in Zelda 1, 2, or A Link to the Past. So, a Big Mac may be valued more highly in Hyrule as a rarity and delicacy.
