What song? I don't know, but I remember being able to pick up trucker's CB's signal with those. Don't ask me how, I was like 5 years old, but I remember I could hear some conversation through them. And yes, I freaked out a few times

The joke is that the song was an untitled track ripped from a CD using windows media player - since at that time the tracks would be unlabeled

But anyhow, it was probably AM radiowaves - which comes over very distorted through unshielded wires - in fact my speakers used to do this as well and scare the shit out of me
