The CycloDS is praised to be the best flashcart with the most features and a good GUI. Now then, can there be a flashcart later this year that will be even better than all of the DS Flashcarts released so far? I know DSTT is getting a new model soon, but will there be a flashcart that can even surpass CycloDS?

I think my G6 Real is one hella good cart...

PROS:
100% compatibility with commercial games
100% compatibility with Wii connectivity
built in 1gigabyte memory (can't lose a microSD, or break a spring)

CONS
around 50% homebrew, and Download play will work with all non-Ninty (first party) games.
VERY sporadic updates to "firmware" for SoftReset fixes

personally i dont care about wat a cart does b/c i think its probably alrdy close to its limitations in hardware
but what i do want to see is better menu systems and firmware(i.e. Sakura) i think that the built in media player is really nice
i think a nice flashcart should incorporate DSO + Moonshell plugins to have a web browsing, media playing, and a organizing all into one menu!
although yea it would be a large file but through development it could come out

i think that's what a new flashcart development team should strive for

Agreed

I think the main question is - what does better mean?

If we're talking about features, well there is always going to be "one better" in production. I personally don't have too much doubt about that.

If we're talking about pricing, value, long-term support, game & homebrew compatability, firmware enhancements...well the word "better" can take on a whole new meaning in people's eyes.

I honestly don't think they can get too much better than the Cyclo. Pretty much 100% compatibility, along with the myriad of extra features, I don't know how much more they can do
