I've been checking out several on eBay, there's mainly the unbranded ones that seem to use 4x batteries and then there's Logitech ones and Madcatz.

The Madcatz controllers were the ones that looked the most satisfying to me, they have analog triggers and don't seem to consume too many batteries (maybe 2). However, is there a better alternative?

Hello.:)

These looks like identical to mine:

Unfortunately that one I had bought in 2018 is no longer available.

the ps2 controller i’ve got is a hyperkin warrior controller

its really good imo

That does look good, but seems to be wired.

That's a shame. Say, that has a rechargable battery or you have to use batteries?

Or you can get a bluetooth usb dongle (last time I checked only certain ones work) and use the official dualshock 3 controllers on openps2loader, given that you have a softmodded ps2 of course.
