One of my favorite gaming genres, and one of many people's favorites as well, I may guess. Action-adventure games are usually characterized by a long and/or engrossing quest, with some action and (sometimes) RPGs elements thown into the mix.

So, what are your thoughts about the genre, and your favorite games of it? I'd like to know GBAtemp's thoughts about it.

The Legend of Zelda is by far my favorite series of all time

Weird how I could never find a game as good as it with similar elements.. :/

But Action-Adventure is a genre hard to define.. Metroid and Zelda for example are totally different games

If they count as "AA", the Silent Hill series (specially the first 2 games) for it's puzzles is also one of my favorites..
