That was some terrible wind!

Yesterday my town (and probably the rest of the state) got hit by some serous wind and I mean serous.
It was bad enough to knock this out of my front yard

It's the post we use to hold bird houses and bird feeders. It's pretty heavy and was knocked down and moved a bit across my yard.
The location it is in now is because my grandfather put it there.
Yeah it is old, but it was still sturdy as hell.

A remember a while back we had some really bad wind storms. There was a big probably 20-30ft pine try that's been in my neighbors yard for decades. I guess all the rain along with wind eventually uprooted that bad boy. Luckily it fell clear of any cars, houses, or roadways, so it just needed to be chopped up and disposed of.

I guess all the rain along with wind eventually uprooted that bad boy. Luckily it fell clear of any cars, houses, or roadways, so it just needed to be chopped up and disposed of.

A lot of trees in my town were knocked down as well. The power was cut because of one last night. I think one of the trees ironically was a tree my boy friend commented on the other day as being unsafe

I need to check it out to make sure.
