What are your thoughts about this game? Honestly, I only just found out the 3DS is getting a tekken game lol. I then found this tech demo from e3-2011 which looks well polished (awesome graphics) and gives me high hopes for this title. I'll defenitly be keeping an eye on this one.

Your thoughts?

Earlier today, just a few hours after Tekken 3D (working title) was announced for the 3DS, we had an opportunity to check out a tech demo of the game. The demo wasn't playable, but as two fighters stood facing each other, we were able to move the camera around them in real time to admire the models. Furthermore, every time we pushed the B button we got to see a different combat animation play out, still with control of the camera.

To say that the Tekken 3D tech demo looked impressive would be an understatement of epic proportions. All five of the available characters (Asuka, Bryan, Heihachi, Kazuya, and Lili) looked fantastic, and they only got better as we edged the 3D slider up toward the maximum setting. The 3D in the demo was some of the best that we've seen on Nintendo's handheld to date, and with the camera positioned so that punches and kicks were targeted directly at the screen, it wasn't difficult to buy into the illusion that they were coming out of it.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the Tekken 3D demo was that, even with the 3D enabled, it maintained a silky-smooth 60 frames per second. We're told that will be the case with the finished game, though only time will tell. We look forward to bringing you more information on this promising handheld fighter just as soon as we're able to get our hands on a playable version of it.

Generally heard and saw good things about it.
60FPS, demo looked pretty good, so I am up for it

.
Not that many good games out on the 3DS anyway, so anything decent is welcome.

I like how it looks.
And that's pretty much all I can say about it.

They refuse to say anything about it so, yeah. There's not much to comment on.

Katsuhiro Harada: The Nintendo projects are top secret and we can’t talk about it at the moment, sorry!

Tekken was great back in the day and yeah it looks alright but i still think DOA is much better game in terms of fighting mechanics. Iv played some of the newer tekkens and i really dont like the "stiff" control scheme anymore. fighting games have got alot smoother since tekken with games like SC and DOA and i think its somewhat behind the times unless they completely overhaul this games fighting style. (which they wont)

YES.
I would buy this game in a heartbeat.

I've played all the tekken games and I'm used to the combat system.
For that reason I can't play SSFIV because I can't get my head around the controls. My timing is always off - So I can't really enjoy it.

This on the other hand would be a game I could not put down.
