So I was told that I can use sys-ftpd-light 1.0.1 on my switch but I downloaded the zip file and extracted it to my desktop and Im stuck on what to do next. Has anyone else used it and can let me know what I should do next

What CFW are you using? You can't use it with SX OS.
If you're running Atmosphere, just copy the atmosphere and config folders to your microSD card, edit config/sys-ftpd/config.ini to your liking, reboot your Switch and you're good to go.
If you're running Kosmos, you'll do the same steps, but afterwards you'll have to use Kosmos Toolbox to enable it.
