Hacking Question SX OS and Pro License

I've got a pro dongle on the way (should arrive sometime next week finally) but I've already bought the OS licence on it's own and have been using that for the past week. As far as i know, the pro dongle comes with a license code built in our something along those lines.

My question is, will this code get used up even though I already have SX OS activated and running?

Probably not. Do you have a second switch or a friend in "need"? Activate it there first, then use your dongle. It has a license on it, but I reckon you can't redeem the license code specifically and sell it. At least I wouldn't know how.

Well I don't need or want to sell it specifically. But I just don't want to waste it if it gets redeemed once I insert the dongle into my switch. Guess I'll have to find someone I know with a switch and let them redeem it first lol
