Hacking SwitchME modchip dead? No LED's flashing etc

Hi,
SwitchME installed many months ago, last update added to SwitchME was the official evilsperm hekate_ctcaer_4.6. Has been working fine without issues.
The Switch boots fine still to the Switch OS, also boots to payload fine, just need SD card in switch obviously.

I can't see any SwitchME LED's flashing at any point of the boot process, or when pressing the SwitchME button etc, used to be able to see LED's fine at the rear vents of the Switch.
Also can't get it to be detected by computer to pop-up the USB drive to copy the latest evilsperm hekate_ctcaer_4.8.uf2 - which is what I was initially wanting to do.

Any ideas?

Well after 11 minutes more fiddling I got the LEDs to light up, new payload now flashed!
Don't know why I was having so many problems trying to get it to detect my pressing the rear button?!

Loose ground wire or data lines, recheck your points
