Hi

Switch region

- I purchased china version switch, how can I change it's default language to English in game?
Some game can't change the display text to other language.

I am using sx os

will wipe your nand for a reset, backup your saves before use or you will lose them for good

use ONLY on emunand, don't use on real nand or you risk a brick

do not go online with this or you will be sure ban

Tried checkpoint jksv, will hang.

if you hang on backup try use the title replacement mode (launch a title while holding R) to go homebrew menu instead of applet mode

I just want to say THANK YOU for posting this.

I tried it and it worked. My tencent switch no effectively operates like an international switch. I also did it with a real nand. On first boot, I got a boot.dat error (or whatever), then I rebooted again, and everything came up and it ran the setup process as though it was a brand new international switch. Now my games that defaulted to chinese now default to english.

I haven't idea about 2 different mode. . .have to learn the different.

Is the new Tencent-Switch-switcher developed by you? The repo owner has a similar username. If so, may I ask whether the switcher will wipe/reset the emunand like the incognito_mod here? Thanks!

yes it was made by me. and nope it does not wipe anything. your datas will stay intact.

Sounds great, wondering if i need to backup anything before using this GUI tool?
like game backups ? Not sure if I need to re-config everything like users on switch after reset the region?

It will wipe everything installed to the eMMC which includes save data, game tickets, and software installed to internal memory.
