Hello,
I recently bought a broken Switch Lite from ebay. The charging voltage is stable 5V but the current is varying between 0.05 and 0.41 amps. So I opened it and checked the motherboard for shorts, but I couldn't find any. So my guess was that it could be the battery that is faulty. I removed the battery and then noticed that the charging current was stable at 0.4 amps when I pushed onto the cable coming out of the battery but the Switch still won't turn on. The voltage of the battery was 2.8V which is probably too low. (It should be 3.8V, at least that is written on the case)
I want to ask you if I should get a battery replacement or if there is something else I could check before I order one.
I would appreciate any help.
