I was running the FTP program in Home brew when it crashed and got a Nintendo error.
Now I can't for the life of me to boot the Switch at all.

Any way to revive it?
Even plugging in the charger doesn't bring anything up

Have you tried holding down power for 15 seconds, then powering it up? If so, what happens? What screen does it go to? Is it black (rcm) ? Or does it boot to a error?

I've seen quite a lot of complaints about errors/corruption using FTP. There's something really bugged about it.

No AutoRCM.

I tried the power for 15 seconds etc, and recovery mode, but no screens what so ever.. just blank.

I did get it to work again.. but it seems like I don't need the Jig thing anymore either.. even though AutoRCM is not installed.

How i fixed it was
- Eject SD Card
- Press Power then the big Boot.DAT message comes up.
- Put SD Card back in
- Press the power 2 times

and it boots up in CFM.

Thought you needed that JIG thing for every power cycle ? but it sure doesn't look like it.

I do have a hard time getting the main screen for the Dongle to come up to select one of the 3 items. but seems like I need to press the + volume twice? (or it was just dumb luck)

But yeah.. that exernal FTP program from the Shop does weird things. (it did timeout after 30 seconds for no reason, and thats when the crash happened when I pressed the home button).
The internal FTP from the menu itself doesn't work for me.

Needless to say I won't be using FTP anymore.

oh, I thought if autoRCM was NOT installed that you needed the Jig everything. so when you have it enabled then you need the Jig.. I must have misunderstood that then.

How do I boot properly in the main menu from the Dongle if I want to swith from CFW to OFW ?

Hold volume + when loading SX OS and choose the OFW option.

Thanks.

Guess I need the Jig thing again everytime when I boot up after the power was off. I didn't had to, and no CRM was installed.
Wonder if that FTP program made a change to something
