I'm honestly in the boat of knowing I'll buy it regardless. I'm really hoping it'll have the power for Monster Hunter Wilds though, even if it's only like 1080p/Low settings compared to the 4K/Max settings you'll find on other platforms. With crossplay confirmed it'd just do so so well.

No Switch BC would be deal-breaker for me as i'd assume for others as well, it should be included in the first model atleast when the system is still new and doesn't have that much games..

It's my hope that if it does have backwards compatibility, that the older games will be able to utilise the power of the stronger hardware. It's more of a hope than anything though, since historically Nintendo haven't done this (GC on Wii, Wii on Wii U, DS on 3DS, or 3DS on N3DS).

Maybe a tiny little bit of fps/ performance boost, yea i wouldn't expect them to allow/give us the ability to increase resolution/ fps or anything like that
