you're definitely not wrong, but also we moved on to pms really quickly and had built and released bootstrap after a few days. it was sort of a different situation though - working with all the existing pieces versus searching for more. you cant really give any sort of a timeframe for the latter. maybe i'm just SALTy.

Maybe I'm still SALTy waiting for you guys. (In all honesty, you're right. Let this be a lesson, whether they fail or succeed. I'll support them like I did you guys, even if I won't get anything out of it for the time being, if at all. )

Hopefully this atleast leads to being able to downgrade from 9.9 downward. Stupid me updated my O3DSXL after the TubeHax announcement and nothing has come from it, and now playing with my friends O3DS that I hacked for his just today has made me quite jelly.

Well, open information isnt always good! In fact, its not good at all.. and beside, its not as if the scene didnt have any experienced 3ds modders yet..so pm is the way you should go! No need for fame if your main goal is to build something worth.
As wulfy said, they moved to PMs.. wich is a good thing to avoid BigN patching more flaws... its not a coincidence that BigN keeps on updating their shit eachtime yellow8 or smealum release to much information.

Open information is only good if the scene is just starting to grow.. wich isnt the case now, its already established enough to find potential devs.

Yeah, it's a shame that people mindlessly mingle over stuff that takes months do develop properly. In fact I remember that the reason that there hasn't been any more exploits was because the devs weren't bored enough to look. ShinyQuagsire claimed he would look for an ARM11 exploit for dynaric for his CitrAGB if he truly felt motivated or bored enough. It's mostly a lack of faith in the community and a legal risk for Nintendo to patch it.

Thanks. However, it seems yellows8 isn't willing to give me any more info. I did get some little tips on where to look for exploits.

I said that was a worse-case scenario option. I don't really have plans to honestly, though. Not enough time, and it works well on 2.0 for N3DS anyhow. Plus there's .cia now, anyhow.
