saw some on the models resource and was wondering how they were ripped so I could do it myself for a couple of models I wanted. Thanks!

You can't rip them yet.
NCA body key #2 is required, and the only way to retrieve it is via a TrustZone exploit.
So, until the 3.0.1+ trustzone exploit goes public, there is no method of extraction.
The key may get leaked by an, ahem... blue-coloured large container, but I wouldn't count on it.

I'd like to know too but for splatoon 2's updates :/ sadly they're all higher firmware.

Yeah, but I don't really think posting the group's name is against the rules, when they leaked the master key their name was in the front page.
