I'm on an Acer Aspire V4-551G and the Stereo Mix is missing from the recording devices.

I went on Acers website for the sound drivers but they don't have any for download...

I installed Windows 7 on this, from scratch, it wasn't pre-installed.

How can I update my sound drivers or get stereo mix working? (It's not disabled either)

Right-click the sound icon in the bottom-right, go to recording devices, right-click a blank spot in the list and set it to show disabled and hidden devices, unhide/re-enable stereo mix if it's there.

If it's a driver issue, then you need sound drivers from the people who actually made the sound hardware, not the company that assembled the computer and sold it to you. You can generally find which sound chip your computer is using by finding your motherboard info through a program like Speccy.
